ミネラルショーや鉱物図鑑でもあまりお目にかかれない、産出したら宝飾・ルース市場にほぼ直行してしまう、希少なオレンジ系のトルマリンです。

トルマリンは緑・青・ピンクが多く、明るいオレンジ系の発色は稀で、その場合も多くはブラウン寄りだったり、ややくすんだ色味になりやすいため、明るく華やかなオレンジ系は貴重で、実際にとても綺麗です。

ピンクも少し感じ、多くのトルマリンは加熱処理で色を安定化させたり、鮮やかに見せる処理が行われますが、コチラでは非加熱ならではの、自然そのものの美しい色味の輝きをお楽しみいただけます。

アフリカのトルマリンは、何億年も前に、数百万から数千万年もの途方もなく長い年月の中、地殻内部の高温高圧などの特殊な環境で形成されたと考えられています。

そんな地球という壮大な物語の結晶そのものであるトルマリン、科学的に遠赤外線放射効果（遠赤外線が、人体に入射した際に、熱エネルギーに変換され、血流や細胞の代謝を促進する効果）が実証されたとする複数の研究報告もあるそうです。

IF
最高級の品質。 これらの宝石には、倍率10倍のルーペで見ても一切のインクルージョンが無い、もしくは見つけることが非常に困難な微細なインクルージョンや、同様に外部に微かなキズしかないクラリティです。こちらは流通量が非常に少ないグレードになります。

VVS
一般に流通している中での最高品質です。 天然石なので、ごく僅かな内包物などが10倍に拡大した場合に確認できますが、肉眼で間近で見ても一切の欠点がない品質です。流通量も少なく非常に高品質なものとして扱われています。

VS
上質。 10倍に拡大した際に、内包物や外部のキズなどがVVSより多く見られます。肉眼で念入りに間近でチェックした場合、僅かにそれらを確認できる場合があります。

SI 1
良質。 VSと比べ10倍に拡大した際に若干内包物が多くみられます。肉眼で間近で見た場合、わずかにそれらを確認できます。

SI 2
良質。 肉眼でわずかなインクルージョンや、外部のキズなど確認できますが、腕を伸ばした距離では、それらは実際には見えず、とても綺麗な宝石として扱われます。

This rare orange-hued tourmaline is seldom seen even at mineral shows or in mineral catalogs because when such stones are found, they are almost immediately directed to the jewelry and loose gemstone market.

Tourmaline typically appears in green, blue, or pink hues, making bright orange shades quite rare. When orange colors do occur, they are often brownish or somewhat muted, so a vivid and bright orange tone like this is particularly precious and truly beautiful.

You can also sense a subtle pink tint. While many tourmalines undergo heat treatment to stabilize or enhance their color, this specimen remains unheated, allowing you to enjoy the natural and stunning brilliance of its pure color.

African tourmaline is believed to have formed hundreds of millions of years ago under extreme heat and pressure deep within the Earth's crust over spans of millions to tens of millions of years.

This gemstone is truly a crystallized piece of Earth’s magnificent history. Additionally, several scientific studies have demonstrated that tourmaline emits far-infrared radiation, which, when absorbed by the body, converts into heat energy that may promote blood circulation and cellular metabolism.

Note: To the naked eye, the cut appears nearly perfect, but under 10x magnification, the shape is slightly less than a perfect circle.
