ご存知の方も多いと思いますがピンクなどの一般的な色味のスピネルと比べ、青系のスピネルは、自然界での産出量が少ない宝石です。

タンザニアの青いスピネルはサファイアに匹敵する、もしくはそれ以上の美しさを持つとされ、通常光下では7枚目の画像のような感じにも見えますが、手持ちライトをあてたり、光源直下でユラユラしますと、メイン画像のような色調が異なるような美しい輝きが見られます。

また、スピネルは宝石としての耐久性が高く、ジュエリーとしての日常的な使用にも耐え、長く愛用することができます。

タンザニアのスピネルは、地下深くの高温高圧などの特殊な条件下で、マグネシウムやアルミニウムが酸素と結合し、おおよそ何百万年から何千万年もの長い年月をかけて形成されると考えられています。

そんな、この星の大地の営みの結晶そのものであるスピネルは、苦境や困難な状況から脱出する力を与えてくれると言われています。

IF
最高級の品質。 これらの宝石には、倍率10倍のルーペで見ても一切のインクルージョンが無い、もしくは見つけることが非常に困難な微細なインクルージョンや、同様に外部に微かなキズしかないクラリティです。こちらは流通量が非常に少ないグレードになります。

VVS
一般に流通している中での最高品質です。 天然石なので、ごく僅かな内包物などが10倍に拡大した場合に確認できますが、肉眼で間近で見ても一切の欠点がない品質です。流通量も少なく非常に高品質なものとして扱われています。

VS
上質。 10倍に拡大した際に、内包物や外部のキズなどがVVSより多く見られます。肉眼で念入りに間近でチェックした場合、僅かにそれらを確認できる場合があります。

SI 1
良質。 VSと比べ10倍に拡大した際に若干内包物が多くみられます。肉眼で間近で見た場合、わずかにそれらを確認できます。

SI 2
良質。 肉眼でわずかなインクルージョンや、外部のキズなど確認できますが、腕を伸ばした距離では、それらは実際には見えず、とても綺麗な宝石として扱われます。

As some of you may already know, compared to the more common pink hues, spinels in the blue spectrum are much rarer in nature.

Blue spinels from Tanzania are said to possess a beauty equal to or even greater than sapphires. Under normal lighting, they may appear as shown in the 7th image, but when illuminated with a handheld light or viewed directly under a light source, they exhibit a shimmering brilliance with varying hues, as seen in the main image.

Spinel is also a highly durable gemstone, making it ideal for everyday use in jewelry and allowing you to enjoy it for many years to come.

Tanzanian spinels are believed to have formed over millions to tens of millions of years deep underground under conditions of high heat and pressure, where elements like magnesium and aluminum combined with oxygen.

As a crystalline product of the Earth's long geological processes, spinel is said to provide the wearer with strength to overcome difficulties and adversity.

High quality. Inclusions or surface blemishes are slightly more noticeable under 10x magnification. Still appears flawless to the naked eye under casual inspection.

SI1 / SI2 (Slightly Included)
Good quality. Inclusions may be visible under 10x magnification and sometimes faintly to the naked eye upon close inspection, but remain beautiful gems at a normal viewing distance.
